The symbolism of the sun’s warmth
Last time, we talked about the sun’s LIGHT, how it helps us to see. This time, we think about the warmth of the sun and how important that is to life in our world.
We look at Summer versus Winter clothes
But it’s not only us! Plants need WARMTH [and water] to grow and fruit
But the way we speak shows us that we think of warmth in another way: Warmth of love as opposed to the “cold shoulder”
The relationship between warmth and love – and love’s absence with cold – can be seen in folk tales such as The Snow Queen
